President Tinubu Embarks on Multi-State Visit, Balances Projects, Condolences, and Festivities

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to depart Abuja this Saturday for a strategic visit to Borno, Bauchi, and Lagos States, blending official duties with personal engagements, the Presidency announced.
In Borno State, the President will commission several development projects implemented jointly by Governor Babagana Zulum and the Federal Government.
During the visit, he will also grace the wedding of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno Governor Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, and his fiancée, Hadiza Kam Salem.
From Maiduguri, President Tinubu will proceed to Bauchi State to pay a condolence visit to the state government and the family of the late Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, a renowned Muslim cleric and leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood, who passed away on November 27.
The President’s tour will conclude in Lagos State, where he will spend the end-of-year holidays. He is expected to serve as the guest of honour at the Eyo Festival on December 27 at Tafawa Balewa Square.
The festival will celebrate prominent figures, including President Tinubu’s mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, as well as former governors Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Chief Michael Otedola.
Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, confirmed the itinerary, emphasizing the President’s commitment to both governance and cultural engagement during the festive season.
