Tension is mounting in the Moroccan camp as the Atlas Lions intensify preparations for their Africa Cup of Nations semi-final showdown against Nigeria.

Reports indicate that Morocco’s technical crew, led by head coach Walid Regragui, has gone into full analytical mode at a private training complex in Salé, where they are closely studying video footage of the Super Eagles.

Every available clip of Nigeria’s recent matches is being scrutinised with the aid of advanced video technology to gain deep insight into the team’s strengths, tactics and patterns of play.

Analysts attached to the Moroccan national team are said to be working round the clock to support Regragui and his assistants, Rachid Benmahmoud and Bouhazama, ensuring the coaching crew fully understands the Nigerian team’s playing style ahead of the decisive encounter.

According to leading Moroccan sports newspaper AlMountakhab, Regragui is determined to leave nothing to chance as he prepares his side for the highly anticipated semi-final clash scheduled for the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

The coach is reportedly banking on detailed knowledge of the Nigerian players to outsmart the Super Eagles and secure a place in the Africa Cup of Nations final.
