Peter Obi visits Otukpo-Nobi, condoles with victims of Benue attack

Former Anambra State Governor and presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, has visited Otukpo-Nobi in Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State to sympathise with victims and families affected by the recent attack on the community.

Obi, during the condolence visit, expressed solidarity with the people of Otukpo-Nobi and the wider Otukpo community, who are still mourning the loss of their loved ones in the attack.

The former governor acknowledged the pain and grief caused by the incident, offering words of comfort to families who lost relatives and residents affected by the violence.

He also expressed concern over the recurring security challenges confronting communities in Benue State, stressing the need for greater attention to the safety and protection of vulnerable communities.

The visit came at a difficult time for residents of Otukpo-Nobi, as families continue to mourn victims of the recent attack and grapple with its aftermath.
