Senator Abba Moro in the Senate: Seven years of transformative representation

The senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Moro, PhD, has today, June 13, 2026, clocked seven years in the Red Chambers.

In the last seven years, Senator Moro has effectively utilised the mandate given to him. He has not failed or fallen short of expectations, instead he has surpassed people's expectations.

The senator hit the ground running from day 1 and has not looked back. As his core responsibility, Senator Moro sponsored several bills, three of which have been unprecedentedly assented to by the president. His other bills are at different legislative stages, which, when passed into law, will  greatly impact the lives of Nigerians, particularly the good people of Benue South.

On projects, Senator Moro has facilitated several legacy projects to Benue South, the most ambitious project being the ongoing construction of Otukpo-Obi-Obi federal road that's gulping billions of naira.

The senator's projects range from road construction, rural electrification, provision of water, construction of bridges, youths and women empowerment, construction of primary healthcare centres to construction of classroom blocks across the senatorial district.

This is what Senator Moro has been doing, this is what he's doing, and this is what he will continue to do for his people. With him in the saddle, the years ahead promise to be prosperous for Zone C.

As he celebrates his 3rd anniversary in the 10th Senate and seven year anniversary as a senator, the people of Benue South are enjoined to keep trusting him. He will continue to provide the needed leadership and representation that will continue to impact their lives positively.
