Every man should marry more than one wife - Sen Ned Nwoko

..says I pity those with one wife

The lawmaker representing Delta North Senatorial District, Senator Ned Nwoko has advised men to marry more than one wife.

He gave the advise on Sunday when he featured on Politics Today, a Channels Television prime time programme monitored in Lagos.

According to Senator Nwoko, "Every man should marry more than one wife."

When asked how a man could manage more than one wife when having just one comes with its challenges, he said: "The example I will give you is that when you imagine standing on one leg, you know how difficult that can be.

"But to stand on two, three or four legs is much more balanced. That is just the example I give.

"I feel sorry for those who have just one wife because it is difficult to stand on one leg.

"And I have no regrets marry wives, if I have my way I will do the same thing again and again."

When told he has a knack for marrying young and beautiful women, he said "this is the way it is. And that is the way it should be.

"You should marry who you want to marry."
On battering his wives, the lawmaker said "common, I'm not a violent person. I respect my wives, I love them and I love my kids. Not at all."
