President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed his heartfelt condolences to celebrated author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband Dr. Ivara Esege, and their family following the tragic passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.
In a statement released by the Statehouse on Wednesday, January 8, 2026, President Tinubu acknowledged the profound grief that comes with losing a child, drawing from his own personal experiences of loss.
